Night drive, a road of haze,
Lost thoughts while in a daze.
Visions of encounters plays,
Images dance of previous days.
Was I right, was I wrong?
Was I weak, was I strong?
Playing out my life's song.
Trip short made too long.
Heart feels the happy/sad.
Soul questions good or bad,
Reviewing the experiences had.
Another one soon to add.
Shocked by screeching tires.
Then comes consuming fire.
Life hanging by the wire.
Avoid the heavenly choir.
Wake up call comes in clear.
Released now darkest fear.
Death stalks very near.
Where do I go from here.
Take a step upon my way.
Face another rising day.
