wishing I could just hold you near
hoping you would say, I love you dear
a smiling face, and a cheerful laugh
these are the things I can not have
longing to have you around
just me and you, no other sound
my fellings for you are so strong
a short time apart can seem like so long
I wish that you were alone with me
then you will be able to see
the fellings I have for you
are no where near new
though our moments together are few
