It is only a big deal...if you believe in GOD (the Christian version that is). The Bible pretty much says once you die there is no coming back and that all ghost you see are demons taking on the form of that deceased individual. It says that dont converse with them cause they take the shape of that person and may know things that that person would only know. In my opinion, it's wrong and I choose not to believe just cause the Bible is that, - the bible - the book of stories. Much love, Matt aka  |

EVen on the mount with Jesus, it was those mens spirits and not ghost. I agree with you there is NO ghosts. I think sometimes people get confused simply because in the bible the holy Spirit, is sometimes referred to as the Holy Ghost. Ghost means spirit.  |

I think it's great you want to teach what the Bible says.....but you can't preach at people who wish not to hear it.....each person makes their choice in life as to how they see things etc. Which path to follow and which one not to take....I don't think it's right to tell anyone who thinks they may have seen a ghost etc that they are having mental issues.....who says God can not come to us in different forms??......When I was 4 years old I saw Jesus ..he saved me from death....so yeah it's a big deal to me....may be not to the next person but it is to me.....It's just plain wrong for you to sit there and judge a person saying they are having mental issues......  |

Hmm interesting. I have often wondered what exactly ghosts are and if they ever could fit into the cristian belifes. Ghosts are a interesting panamana. Here is my take on them. If the bible is true and someone can't come back once there dead then ok how are they here? Well take the advarage human. We don't fully understand it but everyone has a magnetic field that surounds us (eather just our head...or our whole body...im not sure). Well just like us everything has a magnetic field including the eath itself. Well lets someone dies a violent death....could this not creat some kind of major influx that could imprint someones field into the another field? Maybe Maybe not. I don't belive anyone has ever done research on the subject and if they have I haven't seen it. But I don't find it hard to belive that we could leave behind a small peice of us like that, we can do amazing things with our minds. But at any rate I'm sorry if that was confusing, if you didn't understand it and you would like for me to try to explain it better in more detail then just let me know  ....deathletgo  |

Grey eyed girl, I don't think the author meant to preach at anyone...the author is not necessarily saying that seeing ghosts is caused by 'mental issues' but rather that mental instability can cause hallucinations, such as ghosts. not necessarily that one is demented or crazy because they see something. i don't think it is a judgement call...only you know what you saw.  |

Can humans become angels after death? My dad's Godmother was good friends with my deceased grandmother, and she witnessed in her own house my grandmom and her old dog runt. She was not afraid, in fact she was very comforted and when she was on her deathbed, she refered back to that sighting as a reason why she was not afraid to die, because her friend had come to visit. I highly doubt demons are in the business of comforting people, and I never knew humans after death (if heavenbound) to become angels.  |

KJ52, I am interested in your opinion of Saul's experience with the witch of Endor in 1 Samuel 28. Saul appeared to have recognized Samuel; do you think Saul saw a ghost? I've heard several ideas about this passage and am interested in yours. Thanks!  |

Michelle, Glad to be of service. Al:: I believe it was Saul and that God allowed him to show up. But then thats my opinion. I don't believe that spirits are LOST on this plain and cant find their way , as I dont believe God loses anything as some people would think. |

Humans on earth don't become angels, but they can be spiritual guides. Angels and guides are two different things. I'm a Christian also, and I was taught was that girl had posted. I believe it also, but I also believe that some ghosts sightings (like replayed suicides, deaths) is simply the past replaying itself. Like a video tape. |

Sandy Dunes is making a point I think too. If ghosts, spirts, angels, and the like are not real. Why so much strange activity on developed pictures, video cameras, and even people's testimonies. I hope there are such things. I need to believe my mother and pets are still existing in another dimension.  |
