Insomnia has been a life-long enemy of mine. During my school years, I was running on two hours a sleep a night at the max. |

Emi, even though you are having it rough, you still try to find the humor in it all. Take care and I hope you will get some needed rest. ((HUGS)) |

Don't eat unless your starving because like my mom says: Your metabolism (SP?) slows down and doesn't digest properly.. Maybe you should see try a gently calming noise, or I always sleep with a fan for the noise.. And then if that doesn't work something that I always do and don't know why, but I sit with my legs crossed you know criss cross applesauce and then rock back and forth, it puts me to sleep. =) Good Luck Emikins! :P |

Hi Emi Happens to me all the time. Two weeks of staying up as long as you liked, sleeping late, taking mid-day naps (in my case, anyway..hehe) In other words, your body pretty much responded naturally. But with the return of "the schedule," yuck, one has to adjust again and sometimes it takes a while..This sort of thing happens to me all the time as I work twelve hour shifts, days and nights, days and nights, days and nights and so on and for ever...lol..You'll probably sleep well tonight. Write on. |

Oh gosh I'm being such an insomniac lately too!!...last night there was NO hope of me getting to sleep (hence my strangely crazy and outgoingness today...which people seem to like a lot! Lol, maybe I should stop going to sleep so often...lol) This past week I haven't been getting to sleep hardly at all and I can't figure out why. I'm not sleeping very deeply at all. Normally you could push me off the bed and drag me down the hall and poke me repetitively and I still wouldn't wake up. Nowadays if you make even the smallest noise I'll wake up and won't be able to fall asleep. *sigh* Well, hopeully school'll put my internal clock (or whatever it's called) back on schedule. P.S.-Apples wake you up....lol! |
