YEah, I rented these a couple weeks ago, so here (again) is my take on these two movies.

============= Pirates of the Carribean =============

AT first i found it kinda slow boring...i'm not big bloom fan, but lol johnny depp's character was hilarious. I tell you if johnny wasn't in there, the movie would not be the same. Effects are excellent. graphics excellent. I was extremely impressed, the story line at first was a bit bla bla'ish ...but it got interesting...this must be one of my favourite movies for this year (well more like LAST year) lol ...my rating out of 10 i would give it a 8.5 (would be higher if the beggining wasn't as boring)

============== Hollywood Homicide ==============

Would you believe that i found the movie SO BORING that i stopped it about 1 hour in, i stopped wasting my time watching it. Hence, this movie was terrible, i expected a bit more considering harrison ford was in it, he usually plays in 'good' movies, but this must be one of his first's errr 'bad' movies. This movie was boring, not story, no plot, hence my rating out of 10 a 2, no joke, serisouly the movie was TERRIBLE!..

***** This is MY review, hence MY opinion

Date: 1/4/2004 8:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 62482    I'd give PotC a 9.5. It was a bit boring at first, but if they just started you in where she first starts finding out about the curse, you'd be confused, right? They have to give you the background info first. They could have cut a bunch of crap about the background though.
Date: 1/5/2004 4:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 29387    Well, for Pirates..., I'd say that that was the best movie of the summer besides Seabiscuit. It was fun and adventurous, and I gained new respect for Johnny Depp. Hollywood Homicide is nothing more than Hollywood Crap. I agree with you on all accounts, because a) I never knew Harrison Ford could be so blah and boring, and b) it's just stupid. Thanks for the reviews.
