I know what this means, but its very hard for me to explain. Basically if you have to points like this . . Then the point that is in between them (equally or equidistant) will determine the perpendicular bisector, which is the imaginary line between the two points, which bisects them, or cuts through them equally. So in essense, you have what looks like a plus sign. If a point is on this imaginary line, then the point is the same distance from the two points.
