OK this was weird. I fell asleep around 1 am. around 1:30 am I woke up BOLT UPRIGHT in bed, turned on my lamp, completely terrified out of my mind. I didn't have a dream, nothing....I was just terrified. And then I had to, I mean I literally HAD to finish eating my box of chocolate. I mean I sat there in bed eating my candy like my life depended on it. About the time I finished my last peice of chocolate, I realized that I wasn't in dire need to eat the candy, and I thought "what the heck am I doing????" It was strange. Ever happen to you? I mean what was THAT all about????

It sounds to me that you have been eating cheese before going to bed. It is a well known fact it gives people bad nightmare. Great big hugs. Take care.
Date: 1/2/2004 12:46:00 AM  From Authorid: 62146    Yeah i once woke up in complete shock and ended up attacking my dog case i did not know what she was I had a sudden urge to protect myself like something was comeing for me so I attacked my og I felt really bad to.
Date: 1/2/2004 1:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 62085    perhaps your subconcious recognized danger, the craving of chocolate was to release endorphins, so that you could calm down. Believe me, when/if you have a Incubus or Sucubus (night terror demons), confront you, you will remember it. Sleep paralysis, dark figures by your bed etc..,thats what you generally experience..
Date: 1/2/2004 4:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 42259    That is pretty weird! One night I was told I got up, went to the bathroom and started brushing my hair. Then i went back to sleep like nothing happened! Even in sleep i want to look good lol.
Date: 1/2/2004 9:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 50678    That happens to me when my blood sugar goes down, once it is back up I don't feel the need to eat anything anymore.
Date: 1/2/2004 10:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 62478    A night terror is a little different. Normaly you are paralized and a dark figure will appear eather next to your bed, or hover over you. They say if you don't know whats going on it can be the most terrifing experence you will ever have. Good luck to you
Date: 1/2/2004 1:14:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62181    62478, that has happened to me a lot in the past...it started when I was 17 I would wake up completely paralyzed and a dark figure would be in my doorway looking at me. It is freaky, this was different.
Date: 1/13/2004 11:33:00 AM  From Authorid: 62339    62478, a night terror is when you wake up sweating or sitting up and you can't remember what your dream was. Sleep paralysis is when you are paralyzed and see dark figures over/near you. I would know I have sleep paralysis. This was a night terror.
