Just a phase?

Latley I've just wanted to be by myself. Since Christmas vacation started I have not left my room once except to eat and use the restroom. I haven't even been outside or even opened my curtains. I'm avoiding phone calls from my friends because I really don't feel like talking on the phone with them. I haven't really been talking to my parents much either, though tomorrow me an dmy mom are going shopping and to the movies.

And the past two days my appetite has been dwindling. Usually I'm an eater. I love my food but I find myself skipping meals and not really caring. I'm not depressed, but there are a few things on my mind that I can't stop thinking about because I know I will never be able to change them. but I don't think that has to do with it much.

Also I give up on things too esily. I get really into something but soon as it gets the tad bit difficult I just quit and do something else. Now would you consider this anything serious or just a phase?

It could be short term or you may need to take meds for a while, some people can get back and others can't. If it continues I would go to the doctors. I hope that things get back to "normal" for you.

Date: 12/30/2003 7:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 51827    I am in and out of the same phase and it bothers me so much. I will either be extrmely excited or really sad. I think it could be just a phase and sooner or later you will be able to get yourself out of it. But if you cant then maybe you are depressed, about something. You say, some things have been on your mind, well, have you tried to write them down or talk to someone about them. Get invloved in something to get your mind off of things, go for a walk outside and clear your head. Do something about the things that you are thinking about, to finally get them out of your thoughts. Trust me, it will make you fell a lot better in the end, well lots of love.
