DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU LOVE ME

Don't say that you love me,
or that you even care,
cause ever since I was little,
I've learned that life's not fair.
So dont go on like you know me,
like you've walked steps in my shoes,
Cause God knows you'd be lying,
Well, it's not like you know the truth.

Don't say that you love me
when you can't even love,
You left when I was little,
Which told me I'm not enough.
I'll never be enough for you,
enough to make you stay,
I use to want you in my life,
but now, you can stay away.

I can't go outside and play,
I never did grow up,
How was I supose to know how?
I never felt your love.
You expect me just to be able to tell,
to know your every thought,
But I am only human Dad,
and for years, the pain, I've fought.

So don't you dare say
you love me,
When I know you don't,
you had your chances, but never changed,
and now for you, I won't.

Don't tell me that you love me.
