You coudl call me "isolated" but oddly enough I choose so. I'm not a real people person, even my friends annoy me sometimes and I don't like talking on the phone much. Odd huh? I'm a shy person too which doesn't help much so I keep to myself. My parenst don't let me try new things either. Before I go out w/ a new friend they play 2o questions and even then its still hard to be bale to do something. You're not alone in this *hugs* |

I'm also rather isolated but by choice, I used to have friends back in high school, but I didn't really care for making friends. |

It's not "isolated" it's "introverted". There are introverted and extroverted people so just decide which one you are. I'm introverted and actualy like being alone. Introverts sometimes prefer to be alone then be with people. It isn't a bad thing, just a personality type. This wouldn't make you depressed but depression does cause people to become more "isolated". If you're depressed then it's normal for you to be come "isolated". But do you know why you are depressed? If you are feeling depressed then you need to get profesional help and get treated rather then just talk to a school councelor. And your friends and teahcers aren't proffesionals on the subject of depression so how would they know if you becoming "isolated" has made you depressed? Only you can know if this is true or not. |

All's you need to do is move outta your parents' house! And what's wrong with being isolated in that cowpatch of a town? LOL! I'd isolate myself, too, if I were back there, especially from the likes of Cheryl, Ziggy, and some other certain individuals. Ahhh...things will be better once you're out of there. |
