Gargle salt water is one and I like hot lemonade when I have a sore throat. Good luck and well wishes to you! |

My mom always says gargle with warm salt water, although personally, it's never worked for me. I like to drink hot lemonade, or hot honey lemon tea. (Here in the states, you can actually buy the tea without having to add the honey and lemon). Suck on lozenges or hard-tack candies to keep your mouth from getting too dry, and avoid eating foods like chips, or anything that could scratch your throat or cause further irritation. Hope you feel better...sore throat season must be plaguing the USM'ers. ...I'm a victim, too! |
