What are you rememberable events of 2003

Just curious to see what you guys think are the most rememberable events of this year. There are a few that come to mind,

Here are my few, that I can think of, not nessary in this order.

1) The Columbia Disaster

2) The Rescue of Jessica Lynch

3) The Capture of Saddam Hussien

4) The President visiting the Troops on Thanksgiving

5) Micheal Jackson Arrest

6) De La Salle High School Football team from Concord California making 150th straight win.

7) The Indianpolis Colts comming back to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14-35 to win 38-35 in Overtime

Date: 12/30/2003 12:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 58078    They were doing this on the radio this morning. One thing that sticks out is the Elizabeth Smart case and that they found her alive and well. Then you have the Lacy Peterson case that didn't turn out so well.  
Date: 12/30/2003 1:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 48531    January 27, 2003 Our house cought fire and burnt nearly to the ground. Everyone was unhurt, be we all lost everything. June 03, 2003...the birth of my son Austin James Oswald.
Sept, 2003....after 7 years I was reunited with my mother and sister. It was a great reunion.

Date: 12/30/2003 2:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 19460    1) we had an awesome new years party and I got to have my family here for the 1st holiday in 8 years...2)My sons baseball team got 2nd place in our division...3) my sons all stars baseball team got 2nd place. 4)My second son finally started writing in the right direction, so we arent worried about him being dyslexic anymore!...5)The Yankees lost the World Series (but thats ok Jason Giambi rocked!!!) 6)We had a really awesome Hallowen party LOL...7)My husband was afraid he was about to be laid off but instead got a really sweet promotion! 8) Saddam gettin caught (old weasel!) 9) We are planning a really awesome party for tomorrow night! We be some partyin fools! LOL

Entertainment Wise: The deaths of Johnny and June Carter Cash, Jonathan Brandis, John Ritter, Buddy Hacket, Buddy Ebsen, and all the other great stars who we will mourn the loss of.; The release of Return of the King
Personal: Meeting Joe, my boyfriend, and best friend ever, losing Honey, my beloved dog in June, yet getting Jewel, a new puppy in August, who also found a way into my heart. And all other personal battles I have overcome one way or another.
  
Date: 12/30/2003 3:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 13546    hmm... these are my memorable moments of 2003. 1)Anti-war protest, almost 5000 of us in my city, walking down a major street.. it was wonderful.. 2) The many fun times I had with my friends, at studded for pleasure concerts and Kareoke nights. 3) Coldplay Concert in May 4) My trip to Missouri in which I got to stay with Keepsake and Stahl for 2 weeks .. Also meeting Dreamer Poet, Silverhour, Sir Phae and eimaj .. that trip is unforgettable.. and I came away a new person.. with amazing friends... 5) My sister turning 16 years old. 6) My grandmothers 80th Birthday 7) The death of my grandfather in May 8) Passing of Karen a.k.a Thunderhead.
