Time ticks slowly by
And it seems to slow even more
As I stare at the clock,
Willing the hands to move around faster
'Cause the faster they move
The sooner I'll be with you again
The sooner I'll feel your touch
I'll hear your musical laughter
But alas, here I am
And the clock has only advanced
A single minute in time
So I'll continue to wait
I'd wait forever for you
I listen to the clock tick-tick-tick
And I slowly close my eyes
Maybe if I fall asleep, time will move faster
