With everyone being from different places, we pick up different sayings in such. It's been brought to my attention that I like to put the word "for" in front of small sayings. For example, instead of saying "it's true", I say things like "it's for true" or "it's for real" "she was pregnant for" instead of "pregnant with" things along those lines and that it's annoying. What are some odd sayings from where you live and do other people find them amusing or annoying when you say them?

Date: 12/28/2003 9:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 51827    Well, where I am from, we all say YALL and ppl cant understand why we say that. If you have not figured it out its cause I am from Texas and we all have a nice lil slang here. Anyways, I always find by self saying goofy lil things like "It is a tid bit nipply out here." Or ga lee, like Gomer Pile. Or Shucks, and the list is so long on stupid lil sayings like that. I think they are just part of my personality and dont let them annoy you, well the things that you say differently either, cause that is what makes you unique.
