I think there should be a spell checker too, and it auto-corrects, and if it doesnt know what your trying to say, then it wont post until you fix it because sometimes you will go,"I wnet to the store becasue I needed smoe etggs." or something like that.  |

Zema, I can understand things like "colour" instead of "color" but look at some of the posts on this site "bord" instead of "board", "decession" instead if "decision", stuff like that. Not cultural differences. |

I vote for spell check but not for punishment. If it's not readable, I skip it and go on. When I write a story, most times I will put it in Word first then copy and paste after spellchecking.  |

It wouldn't work, great idea too. 2 hard 4 ppl 2 undrsnd.....that slipped out. Too hard for people to understand. But for natural errors, we've all made them, then it would be nice to have a spell check. Whenever I turn in a paper, the most common error for me is the almighty double (that looks strange doesn't it, is that even spelled right, double..) the...bad example I walked to the the store today. Oh well nice suggestion though.  |

There might not be that many people still here in any given day, I think everyone makes spelling errors, which are more often typing errors. Spell check would not be a bad idea though, spelling errors are sometimes the thing that sticks out the most in a post.   |

My days would be numbered! My fingers fly faster than my "internal spellchecker". At work I do have to be precise, and I suppose that should carry over, but I tend to be more relaxed here and hope the point comes through. Excuses of course.  |
