My brother got my other brother a Basset Hound puppy for Christmas. 2 weeks ago I made a batch of fudge and my mom thought it was really good and thought wouldn't it be a good idea to make some more fudge for my Grandmother for Christmas. Well on Christmas Eve the puppy helped me wrap the fudge present. It was cute watching him play with the wrapping paper.

Well the fudge was put into a clear Gladware container and I wrapped it. On Christmas Day my Grandmother is about to open up the fudge when I said to her, oh the puppy helped me wrap it. And my Mom just started laughing and laughing. And then she said yeah and it took the puppy 3 days too. Well the fudge looked like...ummm well you know! It sure was funny. A Christmas moment that I will never forget.

Date: 12/27/2003 6:53:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    He's really a good little guy too. He's got some chompers on him though. We are trying to get him out of his chewing on us phase! He can be a little meanie when he wants to be. The funniest thing is to watch him drink water, because his big ol' ears get into the water.
Date: 12/27/2003 7:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 5252    ah, so he is not too young, i warn you now, hide everything that he can tear up, or else you will be cleaning up for a while. my puppy is cute, he is so fat he side steps, and he wags his tail and it hits his tummy, all you hear is *thump* it is funny, he is adorable, he is a pitt, and he is about seven months old
Date: 12/27/2003 7:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 53909    LMAO!! On Christmas...we had a present for three of the dogs, Scooter..he opened it up by himself and ate it all. He didn't share.
Date: 12/27/2003 7:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 60685    Aw, that's so cute. Heads up, there are special bowls for dogs with long ears, they will set you back 15 bucks but they come in stainless steal which is eassier to clean and it's most recommended by veterinarians and me, lol.

Date: 12/27/2003 7:10:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    Hyperchick, he is quite fond of the couch's pillows. He chews on them, he hides behind them and sleeps on them. We bought him a bowl, well my brother did and I think he spent some money on it, but he still gets them wet. I thought it would be funny to put the ears in a scarf, but that would be retarded. I've had lot of dogs, but I really can't believe how well behaved he is.
Date: 12/27/2003 7:11:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    Scooter sounds like a dog I used to have named Jake, he was not a sharer. My family got a ham from Honeybaked Ham, and I went out to let the 2 outside dogs share it and they didn't want to share, so I had to let them each have about 10 seconds of ham time each. It was funny to watch them go at the ham.

Date: 12/27/2003 7:13:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    Songbird, he is quite the character, I don't know what's my favorite part, the long ears or those stubby legs! He's a youngin too! He was born on November 13th. There are 2 types. The brown/white kind or the beagle looking ones, this one is beagle looking......and still Nameless!
Date: 12/27/2003 7:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 58334    lol! i wish puppies could stay puppies forever

Date: 12/27/2003 8:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 51049    I have a puppy too. She wanted to open some of my presents early, so there were a couple of boxex that had to be taped because she chewed on the corners. She is teething right now so likes to chew on just about anything, but she is learning, and getting better at not doing it so much.
Date: 12/27/2003 9:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 177    Ha ha! That was cute.
Date: 12/27/2003 9:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 177    My family also had a present under the tree, and without any help she pulled it out from among the others and ripped it open to get at the leather chew-bone inside. Really cute!
Date: 12/27/2003 10:20:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    Princess Leo you can have him when he's not a puppy anymore! Just kidding. But they are sure cuter when they are pups.
Date: 12/27/2003 10:22:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    Firecracker, I think that's the stage he is in, very chew happy this one. It's funny, you buy toys and they chew on the things you don't buy
Date: 12/27/2003 10:31:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 57232    TC-Wow, my dogs would of loved that. Well the outside dogs got a good treat, they got the remnants of the Honeybaked Ham. They loved it.
