To Know A Little ----DevilsRoad----

Dimly lit, I sit,
In this room of loss and woe.
Slowly...
Bit by bit,
It comes to surface,
what I thought I didn't know.

Dimly lit, I sit,
In this candle-lit room of life.
Each flame a wish,
Dies slowly bit by bit,
as I'm left with all my strife.

Dimly lit, I sit,
In the lot of evaporating dreams.
Soaring hopes and blissful loves,
are chopped up bit by bit,
...then yanked apart at their seams.

Dimly lit, I sit,
In the graveyard of all I thought was true.
In the ruins of the lightened room,
I realize slowly; bit by bit,
That my biggest mistake of all, was you.
