Silent UFOs

My pa told me a brief story of when the whole town witnessed two UFOs.

Here is the story as told by my pa.

It was approximately 4 pm in 1952 when he was passing by a group of folks looking up toward the sky who appeared amazed or awe-strucked. My pa looked up to see what all the hollering is about. He realized that there were two "UFOs" hovering above the town. He didn't mention the estimate distance of the crafts above the town. He watched them for at least 30 minutes.

Although, he couldn't believe what he was seeing and thinking this was a good hoax, but couldn't find the culprit behind it to make them appear real. One reason that he was skeptical is because it didn't produce any sounds. They was completely silent and not even a hum. However, the middle part of the crafts appeared to remain in place while its outside structures spin quickly. He observed that the crafts had a few windows around it.

He was stunned when it disappeared. He couldn't specifically understand how the crafts could disappear so mighty quickly. My pa'd quote, "the crafts were there silently at that moment and the next millisecond, they disappeared quicker than the alert pigeon could blink its eyes. I can't even explain or describe to you in words because you've gotta see to believe!" He added, "they left no traces of any kinds such as: its upward journey, forward motion, trace of smoke, noises or even a *sonic boom".

^Sonic boom* is created when any high velocity aircraft or spacecraft travels greater than the speed of sound that it penetrates the sound barrier. In layman's term, sound is heard first before you see it, such as Boeing 777, but with a high velocity craft (Blackbird F117 or our space shuttle) will be seen first before you can hear the sound.
