I'm "starving" for sunshine and the smell of ocean water. All this snow is fun though. LOL, good poem Kronk! |

Talk about starving for ocean water..I'm right here on the pond and can't make it to the water. "They've" got me locked away in this windowless hole for the holidays. My hope lies in the spring time. Thanks for checking out the words, Brenda. |

Your comment reminded me of my earlier conversation with my oldest daughter. She lives very near the Atlantic side and that's where I spend all my vacation days, but she travels a lot and just got home today. She said she coulddn't wait to come home and get to the beach, smell the sea, and spend some time there. To much to do though, she never made it tonight. I told her to be sure and get there tomorrow, and send me a scratch and sniff. Or bring a bottle home next week. LOL. I'm torn, I love it there, but I would miss the seasons here. |

I like this poem as it reminds me of the head-pounding from the kids playing with their new toys and the many different conversations my ears picked up during Christmas Day. Today is the time to rest up from the event though. *smiles* |
