Santa brawl breaks out at -- you guessed it - a hockey game....Flame-On

(12/25/03 - UNIONDALE, NY) — The bad Santas were out in force the other night at a professional hockey game in New York.

The Islanders gave free tickets to everyone who showed up for Tuesday's game with Philadelphia wearing a Santa suit. About 1,000 fans took advantage of the promotion and were invited onto the ice during a break between periods.

But not all those Santas were jolly. Two of them stripped off their red jackets to reveal jerseys of the rival New York Rangers. They were jumped by some of the other Ol' Saint Nicks who had turned Bad Santa.

It took six minutes to quell the Santas-on-ice free-for-all. The Islanders went on to win 4-2.

The Islanders forward, A Mr Asham, said teh team wasn't there to witness the spectical, but when he was briefed about it, he simply smiled and said, "Awesome." *laughs again* ~Fayes Eyes~
