Here here!! I try to be my own person. Sure I do some things others do, but not because they do it, but because I happen to just like it. I know one time a year or so ago we were in a career class and we had to do reports on what we wanted to do w/ our future. I said I wanted to be an archaeologist, because I do. Boy, after that EVERYONE suddenly wanted ot be one. I don't even know why, I'm not even popular or anything. I'll never figure people out. I guess they try and fit in.  |

Oh, and everyone at my school is either trying to be preppy, gothic, punk, or a skater. It's so annoying. There was aboy I liked and I was talkign to him and he asked me if I bought my shoes at American Eagle. I told him yes and he was like "Oh, I guess your a little cool now." I don't know what that was about but he said he was joking. Just thought it was an odd thing to say. |

I think I might be the only person in my entire high school that just doesn't give a crap. In ninth grade, I dressed like a little tramp.. and then I suffered from depression and started wearing really baggy clothes/pj pants/sweatshirts/etc... after a while, I started wearing tight clothes again.. and then I gained weight and started wearing baggy again.. I lost all the weight I gained plus more and I still wear the same clothes I wore before.. they're very baggy but they're comfortable.. and to tell you the truth, I couldn't care less what people think of me. I hate followers.. be yourself.  |

i saw this great shirt the other day, i should have asked the guy who was wearing it where he bought it, it said "you laugh at me cuz im different, i laugh at you cuz your all the same." it liked it so much! i think you should get a shirt like that.... lol! but, yeah i know what you mean.... these girls at my school who were all miss sixty and designer cloths before are all rocker now and it is so annoying because it just doesnt suit their personality. i dont really care if a person changes their style or somehthing like that because everyone should experiment with fun cloths to suit their individuality and personalirty, but i hate it when people try to be someone they are not.  |

I feel the EXACT same!! I wear a pair of my most favorite jeans from an "unknown store" (non popular store) for 2 months, then the "popular girl" gets the same jeans now EVERYONE has em. I am like god, that's dumb! I wear em n ppl are like omg! look at her jeans! whod wanna wear THOSE? 2 months later the same exact person is wearing my jeans. I dont care what people think about my clothes, if Its cold I am not gonna act like some fashion victim and wear a tiny skirt n spegettie srap shirt n sandals cause thats "the look" I am gonna wear a long sleeve shirt, pants, n my favorited hoodie, not cause it's "not popular" but cause I am comfy. Who wants ta be some fashion victim any ways? I sure dont!  |

If I wanna wear a shirt that actually COVERS my stomach and jeans that actually FIT me, to the point where I can BREATH I am happy. Who gives what I wear. I have my own style, it's not called Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle or Hollister, it's called COMFORTABLE! |

I am one of those Mixed style people. I wear Abercrombie & Fitch pants with skate shoes and a black shirt that says-Who Gives? on the front and on the back-Not me! If people wanna say something about my style let em. Its not like I care. I like the way I dress and so do the people I hang with. I am not gonna start dressing the way people want me to just cause I wanna be popular. Let me be. I am me and nothing more er less. |

i no kids used to make fun of my dickies pants old school chuck taylor converse shoes my whatever bran sweatshirt and now they were em. and bubbles i think comfortable is the best style there is.i dont buy to much of my cloths at hottopic i usually buy them at quicksilver and i buy my pants at bobs store. i usually get my shoes wherever i feel like it.  |

First of all, who in their right mind would pay $60-$90 for American Eagle or Quiksilver shoes anyway? I got a pair for $10 in 7th grade and I wore them everyday until high school and they're STILL in good shape. No need to spend more than 5 times that much for brand names. |
