Christmas Time

Snowflakes in the air
decorations everywhere
people laughing without a care
Its Christmastime, its Christmastime

Chestnuts roasting by the fire
"Santas coming!" yells the town crier
mistletoe hanging by a wire
Its Christmastime, its christmastime

Cookies lie lonely on a plate
with milk's good company, set on the slate
all the children can hardly wait
Its Christmastime, its christmastime

And as the kids lie awake at night
they know in the morning there'll be pleasant delight
and for once, brothes and sister won't fight
It's Christmastime, its Christmastime

Snowmen standing proud on lawns
children waking up at dawn
adults rising with a yawn
Its Christmastime, its Christmastime

Up in the sky, theres flies the reindeer
looking for a place to land near
and without a doubt, the children know, Santas here!
Its Christmastime, its Christmastime
