This is kind of a pointless post, but I'm trying to get myself all excited about this..lol. You see, on Thursday (after being sick all week in bed and losing my voice near the end of the day), I went in and sang my heart out in auditions for the school music since Wion (the drama teacher) will be out for surgery and left this to my choir teacher, Kochan.
We went in yesterday to go look at the parts and I managed to get Jack's mother.
To those who don't know, Into the Woods is a musical based on Grim fairy tales. Basically, it has the story of Repunzul, Cinderella, Little red Riding hood, Jack and the beanstock, the tale of the baker and his wife wanting to get pregnant, and then Sleeping Beauty and Snow White come in near the end.
I had wanted Red Riding Hood, but my friend Erin was telling me that Jack's mother is a really funny character.
I don't know...i'm kind of emotionless to it..lol.
We'll see how excited I get once we start rehersals after break.
