See, when I was pregnant, I tried very hard to dye my hair back to the gorgeous color I have had it for years. It is called Deep Ruby. It looks amazing on me for some reason. It glows in the sunlight kind of a deep red-purple color. If any of you really want to see it, it's Herbal Essences #44. Well, I could not get the color to stay in at all! It all would keep washing out! So after a massive haircut (5 1/2 inches gone) I did it again last night. WOW! I have it looking GREAT! I also bought some of those pillow rollers to see what they would do to my hair. I left them in as specified over night. This morning I took them out and OMG! One word decribes it well............POOF! I looked like I had a ruby colored curly afro. LMBO! So now here I sit. I am not allowed to wash my hair for 48 hours (thank GOD I did this on a weekend!) and I have a pony tail going on. All the curls are on top of my head and it looks cute as can be! But if I let it all down. POOF once again. Scary. At least now I know NEVER to do this and try new things with them on weekdays. I can just imagine the comments at work! LOL

Mine was supposed to be like the color you are talking about .. And it turned like a pinkish color .. and my highlights turned purple. Scary, yes. Her's turned orange. It was awful. So yeah, Now I just stick to a professional. My hair is naturally curly .. and if I don't blow dry it .. It poofs.

Date: 12/20/2003 11:08:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 29532    Well, ammonia is VERY bad for an unborn baby.. yes. But Herbal does not use any. It's all natural. Hence the company's name. So YES, it is ok to use Herbal when you are pregnant. (pokes Jenn) Geek. I have dyed my hair so many times since I was 15. I cannot count how many times I used this color. Too many. Over 4 years now I have used it though. Every time I do dye my hair it looks perfect. Then again, I've done it so many times I could be a pro at it. LOL
