We had a beginning,
We had an end.
This is what it feels like,
To lose a friend.
We had a start,
We are at a stop.
I told myself I didn’t care,
But still my tears drop.
We’ve had the good,
And sometimes the bad.
The happiness,
And the sad.
I remember always,
Like it was yesterday.
But I have to let go,
And turn my head away.

Now that you are gone.
