Still Missing - Buddha9902

I wrote this poem when my ex started seeing one of my good friends. They are since broken up but I am good friends with both still. Might show how strong of a friendship I might have with both.

I have loved few others since the day it ended
with your new relationship our groups have now blended
it seems like yesterday we were holding hands and kissing
it may not be me this time but I still see what I am missing
to see you happy is the best I could wish for
but seeing you happy is all I ever wanted
there is no way I could ever ask for more
you were once the only thing I woke in the morning for
I hope we never stop being friends
for with that all my days would come to an end
becuase with you I have a life long friend
if the other person doesnt understand
then I guess he will just have to comprehend
I dont think it should be a problem
cause in him I have found another true friend
I hope to find love as it seems you have
There are many others that I see as a possibility
but I strive for what is quite possibly,
the hardest thing to atain
that one love who will leave wanting no change
