A Lesson ---ice

I feel it in the air,
Surrounding unconditionally.
The essence spreads,
Dreams dreamt intentionally.

The wind whispers,
Telling of the joys to come.
The secrets of the night,
Leaving none lonesome.

Frictions spark,
The flames remain hidden.
A state of ecstasy,
A letter is about to be written.

Dear Lord listen,
I pledge to be your soldier tonight.
Escaping the darkened corners,
My mind cures the soul’s blight.

Listen to me preach,
Watch as good starts to spread.
Scanning between the lines,
Your scriptures thoroughly read.

Brushing off my past,
Looking to the future constantly.
Invulnerable to all mistakes,
Errors to cover wisely.

Eyes blurred by sands,
As the storm expands.
The rain continues to pour,
Through this pain my heart still stands.

Murdered in numbers,
Our blood drained.
Ready to release,
The truth so faint.

Trapped in a paradox,
Lost within wishes.
My eyes watery,
My faces blushes.

Give me your love,
Show me the way.
I pray everyday,
Hoping with regrets I won’t lay.

Memories recovered,
The neurons tricked.
Connections lost,
My brain lightly pricked.

Crawling away from the scene,
A coward I would never dream.
Standing up to what I believe,
Fisting at the creator of such grief.

Disturbed within my own mind,
Still searching but can’t find.
Protesting out in the streets,
Chanting, freedom they consider a crime.

Just wait for the years to come,
And you would eventually see.
That what I was meant to be,
I would achieve greatly.

The wings are given,
Flight is in session.
Get your paper and pen out,
Its time for a lesson.

I try so hard,
To maintain within this life of mine.
Understanding that hope is little,
Living within such limited time.

Optimism necessary,
A factor to obtain.
Pleasure needed,
In order to stay sane.

Friends are objects,
Not valuable enough.
Trust is priceless,
To acquire is tough.

So much to know,
If only your mind would permit.
Zap off the devil,
To the angel commit.

If you don’t believe me,
Then wait for your demise.
Only then would a tear fall,
Wishing you would have listened to the ice.
