if you don't take it the same day same time every day it is not as effective... also if you smoke or drink it will lessen the birthcontrol also and you have a higher chance to get pregnant |

You can actually miss one whole day and be okay. You have to take two on the next day. If you miss more than one pill though you need to use protection for the next seven days. Taking it and hour or two later than normal will not hurt you.  |

That is what the info sheet that came with the pill I used to take said, at least. You might want to read the info / instruction sheet for your particular pill to make sure. I'm on the patch now and I love it - no more worrying about that stuff.  |

you'll be totally fine. If you EVER miss one pill, take it as soon as you remember, then the next day, take it at the normal time (the time you've been taking them at). It doesn't have to be on time EXACTLY. They just tell you that so you don't forget. But you'll be perfectly fine, an hour and a half is NOTHING  |
