We’re so free in this misery
In this land, in God we trust
We pledge allegiance to Corporate America
Our pockets miles deep
But minds so shallow
Save the rich
Kill the poor
Red, white and blue
Our glory colors so true
Many plates of pride
Add to meals of arrogance
Crosses hang where flags are risen
Offerings made to delight unholy figures
Shadows bring true faith
Yet solid flesh blinds with ignorance
Our money used to feed the fire
Secret actions taken
Bury it deep within
