"The Carrier" ~Lilliana~

Lara looked down at her watch impatiently. She waited at the foot of her driveway for her boyfriend to pick her up for their weekend getaway in the desert. She didn't understand why she wanted to go to the desert but ever since she started having weird dreams she had a strong desire to go there. Her boyfriend, Bryan, didn't ask questions. A lizard quickly scurried up her leg. Lara slapped at it until it got off and muttered "God I hate Arizona". Her eye's searched for Bryan's black jeep. As soon as she looked down Bryan's black jeep appeared in her driveway, but not alone. He brought his friends Eddie, Jon, and Jake. All of them were 17 with the exception of Lara who was 16. Lara jumped into the jeep and kissed Bryan. During their two hour drive Jon kept noticing a black car following them. "Uhhh Bryan I think you have a stalker" Jon said. Bryan looked into his mirror and saw there was indeed a black car following them. "Well we'll see" Bryan said as he switched lanes. The car too switched lanes. Lara suddenly clutched her stomach and moaned in pain. "Lara whats wrong?" Eddie asked concerned. Lara just brushed off the pain and said "Uh it's nothing". Soon they arrived at the desert cabin which lay close to the canyons. Lara jumped onto her bed and started to feel the pain in her stomach again. She ran to the bathroom and threw up. Something was definitely wrong. Bryan came to the door and knocked on it "Lara are you ok?". Lara just propped herself on the toilet and said "Yea I'm fine". For the rest of the day they partied and that night they were in the living room of the cabin watching the television. Soon they heard a large explosion from outside. Everyone ran outside to see the jeep blown to bits, and the black car right beside it. "WHAT GOING ON!!!" Bryan yelled. A well dressed man got out of the car. Two other strong, body guard type men came out with him. They shot sleeping darts at all the guys but left Lara alone. The two men came up to Lara and threw her in the car. "Let go of me!! Who are you and what did you do to them!" Lara screamed. Little did they know Jake was inside the cabin and saw the whole thing. Inside the car Lara grabbed onto the door on the other side but it was locked. She looked at the men as the car started to leave. It was a big car so she used that space to put distance between her and them. "Who are you and what do you want?" Lara asked. The well dressed man took out an id and quickly flashed it. "I'm agent Vault and this is agnet Ray and agent Jay" he said pointing to the other men. "We need you Lara. Your very important to us". In a few moments Lara would learn why.
