The Growing Pains of a Writer...

I have often though of my 'imagination' sitting on my desk, laughing at me as I try to write.

He (Yes HE) must have been in hysterics today as I sat at my desk, once again, with a blank pad and full pen.

I watched as he carefully moved into a standing position and stuck his ugly tongue out at me. I wanted to wring his scrawny little neck but, I cannot bring myself to kill my imagination...

What would I do then??

Date: 12/11/2003 10:09:00 AM  From Authorid: 62222    If it were me, I'd write about where he went, and what he saw while he was gone. I mean really, what does your imagination do when it isn't working for you????<regretfulhalo>
Date: 12/11/2003 10:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 53284    Sometimes you need to get out and do something. Then write after you've been inspired. I can relate to the feeling of sitting there waiting for something to happen.
Date: 12/11/2003 5:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 51070    My imagination has been really good to me lately. I finally broke past the writers' block on a few stories. YAY!
