Enviousness, Invidiousness From across a crowded room, Still trying to tend to my own While the music plays on Bright and gay, Often cheerful, the tunes Valiant attempts to lighten the mood The colors, red and green Far away and in tetters Then the latter drowns the scene... As she majestically enters, Towering above all others... Tall and thin, So prim and proper From a pedestal on high Gazing down upon the paupers I feel like such a low-life In the presence of a queen Oh! Evil queen.... The apple you wield And your spells render valueless The love that I give So rich, so powerful And all you control Yet all I have to offer... Are the depths of my soul Which I recant, daily In these words that I give Pouring out, softly My heart doth flow, And I live.... At his feet Oh! To kiss the soles! "If only he knew, How much I love him so" My zealous vigilance Screams out in anger... Then, I hide my face in shame For this sinful passion... I, alone, am to blame For he has done nothing wrong True to you, his Angel All along... And, thus ends my wayword song You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 57116 ( Click here )
