Your right Koolade, most poetry submissions don't get nearly what they deserve. I think this post has a few more because I put my hunny's poem at the top for a day, not because he signed it Admin. No one owes Admin or I any comment, and if it doesn't come from their heart, then it shouldn't be given to anyone. I think many poems are read, but the reader might not know exactly what to say to them. I for one am not a person that can, in all good conscience leave a comment that says ... "good poem". If I have been touched by the poem, and I have time .. I leave a more extensive comment. I didn't just put this up at the top cuz my sweetheart wrote it. I did it because it indeed touched me. I have been trying to put poems up every once in a while. Certainly, I do not seem to get the time to find all the great posts and poetry that should be more prominent, but I'm trying to do my best. :-D |

oh and BTW, i agree that there are many posts that should be held at the top that are very often overlooked BUT as i said before it if it is your site you can run it however you chose. i really feel this way. and i am just glad that we are all allowed to share in this great site. no place/site/one is perfect. |
