Date: 12/6/2003 10:29:00 AM From Authorid: 56293 I'm almost 19, I work in an office at a place that sells/builds modular homes. I enjoy it MOST of the time.. |
Date: 12/6/2003 10:29:00 AM From Authorid: 46530 I am 28, but when I was under twenty I spent a couple of years working in supermarkets stacking shelves for money, until I got an apprecnticeship in computers, which is what I now work in. Most people find their work to be quite tedious, and it is the people you work with that make work bearable. If you want to look for a first (proper) job, then go for your strengths, whether it be a talent, or your personality. Good luck |

Date: 12/6/2003 10:49:00 AM From Authorid: 33573 Well I am 16 but I don't work yet. I don't have enough time to work and plus it would be too hard for me without my lisencse yet. I am going to get a summer job though. Look at the local restaurants and fast food places. You could also work at hotels but some only let you work on the weekends so that wouldn't be much money. |
Date: 12/6/2003 10:56:00 AM From Authorid: 10722 Yep, on the water on a barge. I'm part of a drilling crew, and my dads my boss. It's a night shift (6pm-6am). It was tough the first couple nights, but I got the hang of it now. Do I enjoy it? Well honestly, no one does. But the pay and benefits is alot better then most places around here. |
