I got the same letter a few months ago. I filled out the application and everything and got a letter saying I was accepted. We just didn't give them any money (to buy the actual book or anything like that) cuz I figure that way ya got nothin to lose because like you I was unsure about it. Hope I helped!  |

I was inducted into the National Honor Society, if that is the same thing, in 1992 and wasn't asked to pay anything for it however, I did have to write an essay; explaining why I thought I deserved it.  |

NKa NHS isn't the same thing. I got a couple letters for the NHR but I didn't sign up for it or anything because I didn't wanna pay for the book and I didn't think I would get accepted.  |

I was actually asked to join... But I didn't think it'd be worth it because so many times something like that is too good to be true.. So I threw away the application thingy and forgot about it. Oh, well. Go ahead and try for it, what harm can be done? If you make it, you make it, if you don't, you don't. I think the whole thing about being in a book is kind of phony, though..you might not want to bother buying it..  |

I got a letter from the National Honor Roll thingy...they like made it sound awesome then the second letter or so wanted me to buy stuff from them so I just started to throw away the letters...my friend actually bought stuff from them like a trohy/plaque and such...but ya i didnt bother ~~Distraught~~  |
