Date: 12/5/2003 5:01:00 AM From Authorid: 160 You can't ignore the scriptures that say that the earth was created to be inhabited forever. Fire denotes cleansing or purification, thus clearing away the old wicked system of things. Once that has been done a way can be opened up for a righteous new government. But the fact remains that the earth will be here forever. A new earth in that it will be unrecognizable as we know it now. A new government ruling a people that have survived Armageddon ans will turn the earth into the paradise that God intended. Why do you think the bible recorded the account of the Israelites being released from Egyptian bondage? "For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:4 The pattern there shows how he is going to likewise deliver righteous people from the bondage of sin and death. Isaiah the 65 chapter shows in great detail how people are going to bring about the paradise. Animals will be at peace with one another and at peace with humans. People will build their own houses and have occupancy. We will also grow our own foods, the earth will blossom like it has never blossomed before, where there are now desserts there will be furtile soil and abundance of fragrant flowers and trees producing fruit like we have never seen. And at last when Jesus has rules over mankind for a thousand years and brought them back to the perfect states that we were originally created in he will turn the kingdom back over to his Father, at last man will be at peace with our creator. All of this will take place here on the earth that Jehovah created so long ago. |

Ex:301: So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations. Lv3:41: And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. THERE is a whole list of things in Duet that you SHALL not do as part of this FOREVER covenant, can you tell me if you do them? Such as, Dt:14: Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud. *cow* And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, *PIG* And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you. * Some sea foods*Lv:16:34: And this shall be an everlasting *or forever* statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the Lord commanded Moses. as I said before pammy, here are a few examples about *forever* and if we can't ignore the old testment passages of *forever* for we have a new covenant, if not why not? |
Date: 12/5/2003 9:42:00 AM From Authorid: 32133 yes i suppose it will. thts what i think. |
Date: 12/5/2003 10:09:00 AM From Authorid: 54987 I hope you won't ban me from the post because I don't believe the bible to be the word of God. As I mentioned in another post... I think this may be a prophecy about the coming shift of the polar axis which is long overdue. This shift will cause massive changes on mother Earth. The sea and land areas will shift places. The tektonic plates will move, causing huge eruptions. The north and south poles will become a fertile land again. The warning signs will be unusual weather patterns emerging. I think that has already begun. |
Date: 12/5/2003 10:23:00 AM From Authorid: 15070 this is the approprate place for this discussion/debate. PamyJo, it is silly to ask me not to delete comments from DEBATE, since I do not have the tools to do that here. Also, I would not delete comments here in DEBATE for arguing both sides of an issue. This is the designed place for this. RELIGION, is not. Also, you cannot "double post" the same story in two different areas of USM. So, because the other posts really was not a topic for RELIGION, and this story is here, the other one was deleted completely. It really should have been moved to begin with if you wanted a "friendly" discussion about Theology. You, FB, KC, and myself have been here at USM long enough to know, NO discussion on Theology in religion stays friendly very long. Besides, that section is NOT designed for that type of discussion. |
Date: 12/5/2003 10:24:00 AM From Authorid: 15070 Koolade, no one has the authority to "ban" you from ANY section, because you believe differntly than they do. |
Date: 12/5/2003 10:43:00 AM From Authorid: 15070 On to the debate-if our Earth is destroyed by fire, it will be as a result of a man-made situation (Nuclear exchange), or a massive Solar situation (Solar Flares). Now, I think the Earth CAN be destroyed, but I don't think it WILL be destroyed. I do think maybe a time may come when there are no longer any Humans on Earth. |

Date: 12/5/2003 3:03:00 PM From Authorid: 19092 PamyJo, Firstborn, and myself are all friends. What, did you look into your crystal ball and have a vision of us fighting??? We, as christians, are now forbidden to discuss "theology" amoungst ourselves in the religious section. Uh, I thought I read something like "Our purpose for the religious section is to provide a forum so you can share your religious beliefs..." My eyes must be playing tricks on me.... |

Systmn44. me too. Thanks for your opinion. Koolade, I know that you dont believe and thats ok. I still like ya. Nor would I ban ya. Sounds interesting and I think I read something on like that on a web site. |
Date: 12/5/2003 5:49:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16671 LSG I may not have the authority to ban koolade from this post, however I think I know koolade well enough that if I asked him nicely not to mess this post up by making it into a is God real post, that koolade would kindly not do so. But koolade's opionins are as valid as anyone else's and this is why I usually post in debate although some of my post could fit into the discussion catagory, as I dont believe in deleting someones comment unless they have been really rude and nasty , attacking the author and not even having anything to do with the post. As for the other post in the religion section as you saw by the replies that not only I made but paranoid, we felt that the discussion could NOT be done in that section. I even asked pammy if she would post it again in this section, BUT there was no anger in pammyjo's post or the comments. However your right it could have turned ugly. And still can if someone else goes in there. I hope that your keeping a close watch on it. |
Date: 12/5/2003 5:51:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16671 LSG I know that God said it would melt, fold up like a scroll, and that could be from a cause of man made junk that does it. He doesnt say , as far as I know anyway, just how it will be done. |
Date: 12/5/2003 5:52:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16671 LOL Nimuwae? from now on as I usually dont wear my glasses when on usm, and your name is so hard to read and I never can remember how to spell it. You will be NW to me. LOL so IF you see NW, you will know I'm talking to you. But I said LOL, because of your short comment But thanks for stoppin in. |
Date: 12/5/2003 5:55:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16671 King that is true, and I think the UGLY remarks should get deleted. The ones that were there were far from ugly, ask pammy jo. We were just discussing. As we DO know better than to get nasty in that section. But it could still happen even with US being out of it and I'm hoping that it gets taken care of. We have three monitors, for that section, but most the time I think they forget they are monitors. I've made several posts in the past when I've seen it getting ugly in there and ask WHERE are the MONITORS for this section? But oh well, hopefully it will start to be watch like it should be. |
Date: 12/5/2003 7:25:00 PM From Authorid: 50435 I'm still waiting for California to make good on its date with the bottom of the Pacific. I'll be watching with popcorn buttered and drink in hand. |

Date: 12/6/2003 5:06:00 PM From Authorid: 15070 FB-it is against the rules at USM to question either the Admin, or the Monitors actions in a post. In addition, as a part-time USM'er, I would think you would ask full-time USM'ers like maybe KC, where HE is in Religion? Or is it you only complanin when YOU don't ike where a disscusson is going? In addition, double-posting in two areas of USM is not allowed. Religion is NOT an area designed for Religious debate, or discussion of Theological facts. Besides, we KNOW discussions in Religion get very,.....heated. Since you have participated in those discussions yourself, you see how they very quickly get out of control. :P Debate is the proper area to argue Biblical Doctrine. Now-enough with the "I've-been-so-victimized" stance & move on, o.k.? You've been a USM'er long enough to know the rules. In addition, I am SURE you have had enough "discussions" with Admins & Monitors to know what is acceptable. |
Date: 12/6/2003 6:49:00 PM From Authorid: 160 I am confused. We were not fighting in the least. I encourage opposing views and I can handle matters without loosing my cool, so why would you delete that post? This looks more like a dictatorship that a forum for civilized people to discuss religious matters. Give me a break Cathy. |

LSG then I guess 75 percent of USM is breaking the rules right? AND get a grip LSG, I was only making an observation , stop trying to make it seem like your the big boss in charge as your not. PammyJO, there isnt suppose to be double posting according to lsg, ,but that is to ONLY apply with the same person. WE are two seperate people, so its not double posting and should not have been deleted. Some people like to let power go to their heads. Jestr, could be. Rod tod, it would be nice. NOW lsg, I'm not on the peck with you, havent been for awhile, so please get off your high horse and give it a rest. |
