Is there any good ...........

Hllo everyone,

I was just wondering if there are any good legitimate home businesses out there. I would love to work at home by doing data entry or wordprocessing etc, but most of the places on the internet seem like they may be a scam, and they want alot of money up front. They promise you alot, but I am afraid in the long run that once you give them the money, you are on your own most of the time finding people to contract out to.

I thought of selling a good product etc, but I don't know what is a legitimate product or what isn't. You always have to pay first to find out. That sucks.

Is anyone out there doing a home based business and how are you making out or didn't make out??? I need some ideas here, because the job market out there is not as promising as it may seem. Thanks.

Date: 12/4/2003 7:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 17081    I made $300 on Ebay the first week. I sold mainly clothes and books. I would sell about 2/3 - 3/4 of the things I put on. I am going to go to some thrift stores and buy some more things to put on. Look for the clothes with sports teams on them. The main books I sold are ones people could use in school. I bought 2 Steelers shirts for .50 each and sold them both for $11.50. Ebay charges a small amount to list and a small percentage if it sells.

Date: 12/4/2003 8:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 53427    I have to agree with the others, there is decent money to be made on Ebay. I just made $120 on something that I thought was a piece of junk. It was actually a valuable antique. Lucky me!
Date: 12/4/2003 8:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 36766    you could make a bundle on ebay...my dad sells stuff on there and he makes quite a bit of cash...he sells lots of stuff that he finds at yard sales, like collectors glasses and Fenton glass (I dunno if anyone has heard of that stuff, but it sells like hot cakes), and he sells collector dishes too
Date: 12/11/2003 10:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 52489    Never sign up with a company that wants money up-front before they'll tell you anything. That's a dead giveaway! Ebay sales are probably your best bet. Here's some winning advice: make your But-It-Now price below retail. Times are hard right now, and people are looking for bargains.
