Hiding in the darkness, bearing gifts
'Twas nothing but time,
And a spirit to lift...
Yes...thine
For the talents bestowed, cost not a dime
The value measured only
By the hint of a smile
And the sparkle in eyes, held
...if only for a while
Never keeping, or stole away,
Any not allowed
A face in the crowd,
Remains seen, and not heard
Speaking ne'er a word,
Always in retreat...
Always looking behind,
Praying only to see...
