Oh yes, the wonderful facade of life you use to show people what you feel they want to see. Is it really what they want to see, or is this the perceptiuon you want people to see, so they can't see the real you. In most cases, a facade will just let linger the problems you are having and the emotional stess you feel. It will build up to a point to where you feel the facade is actually the reality in which you live. This brings on the sadness and the anger in your life, you tend to boil over and start to just want to break down. The reality slowly drifts away so the facade can come in it's place and run your life completely. But the reality is, there are those that see thrugh this, and the more they see you, the stronger someone will make thier facade to not let anyone in. Now you come to a point where someone you thought wasn't a friend, and didn't care calls you out on this. They want to know why you hide your real self behind a wall of darkness and mystery, when you can be showing the world the true nature you hold inside.
Facades only last so long, before reality will come crashing in on you. When this happens, you are rarely ever ready for it, and it shocks you into seeing the truth of what has been going on. You see how much you have missed, how much your world you made had an impact on others. Then you start to wonder, why did I do this not to just myself, but to everyone around me. You wish you could turn back the clock and redo all the things you have said and done to others. But all you can do, is hope they will forgive you and understand that you were in a defensive mode at the time.
Never forget that in reality, the real you will shine, and those that want to know the real person are the ones that will come to you. They like you for who you are, not for the person you pretend to be. These are the people that will see through the guise of what you have made, and will show compassion and happiness to see you as the person you were to be and are. They don't care if you have flaws, for we all have them. So, show them ther true person and soul under the mask, and let your light be a guide to show you the truth and be the person you want and need to be.
