I just saw "Master and Commander". I think they did a fine job of recreating the time period and the action was great, but I thought the storyline was lacking, and the ending, with the discovery of the French prize ship's doctor actually being the Captain, while appropriate for a movie that comes from a volume of books 20 deep, I couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to see them chase the ship down and find out what became of poor Lieutenant Pullings that took his first orders to sail her home with the real French Captain still being onboard! To me it seems like this is where the movie started. "Please sir, I WANT SOME MORE!"
