This is straight out of MY Biblo Lumas Umbra (book of light and shadow) and I wanted to share it with you. For protection from a past loved one do this simple charm. You can figure out the moon phases and stuff like that, I dont usually specify when I do spells unless I really want it to work asap.
Items- Jewlery that was owned previously by a deseased relative that you loved very much. Wand or Athame (optional)
Cast the circle and invite the angels/spirits of the 4 towers/directions. Invite your ancestor to join you. Burn some incense if you want. When you feel your ancestor join in the circle you may talk to them if you wish. Then place your wand/athame/right index finger at your third eye with your left hand over the jewlery.
Chant- "Oh, ancestor, you were taken from this world but left behind a gift. Please protect me with this that you did not take. When I wear it you shall guide me and I will listen. I connect to the spirit world with this. Merry meet, farewell. As I have done, So mote it be!"
