Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner.

Ok, I'll give you an interpretation because sometimes it is difficult to understand philosophy, although this passage is precise and understandable. Interpretation: Do your work, then step back: When you do your work wholeheartedly, you are glad to let it go, just as a parent lets a child go, into it's own life!
