Satire (noun): The use of mockery, sarcasm or humor in a literary work to ridicule or attack human voice. (In my case, to also criticize and analyze the crud out of my life).
Before we begin, there is a list of characters you might like to know about. Nicknames are used when possible, otherwise, they've been shortened or given a different name that starts with the same letter as their real one.
Tiger: Refers to me (I'm obssessed with white tigers).
Butterfly or Kimana: Refers to my best friend since 6th grade (Kimana is Shoshone for Butterfly).
Penguin or PufferFish: My friend since 3rd grade, newly christened my best friend in April. (Called Penguin due to her obssession with penguins, and PufferFish as a variation on her last name).
Skittles or SkidKid: Penguin's cousin, a friend of mine since a young age. (Both nicknames are a variation on her last name)
Goose: A girl I met in HS, also a friend to Penguin (Goose rhymes with her last name).
Mr. S: The band director.
Mrs. D: A computer ed teacher.
Mrs. N: My World Lit teacher.
Mrs. C: My Forensic sci teacher.
Mr. E: A favorite sub.
Lady H: The library secretary.
Tricky Little: The media specialist Evil Dragon Lady (or EDL): The head librarian (I think that's her title), Lady H & Tricky Little's boss.
Erique: A soulmate (name taken from one of my stories).
Andrew: Erique's son (or the name of his twin, in the story).
Nick: Erique's next youngest son.
