Today brings rain - yesterday it was hot
Now the hour has arrived when you tie the knot
In the bow thats been tied once before
Once bitten, twice shy has gone out the door
So you're not so fussy about how you look
And I cannot read you like any other book
Well this chapter was one right out of the blue
The script has been written and the star is you
To "Here comes the bride" you walk down the aisle
To be greeted by a man that cannot but smile
It took more courage than the sun has beams
I can only hope that you realise your dreams
Live for the day like there is no tomorrow
May you never have to steal, nor beg, nor borrow
And at night when you sleep upon his heavenly chest
Remember you're a flower and he picked the best
