LOL! Ms. C (we'll call you) ;-) Groovy: Most of it is most certainly not a joke. Research GW's college glory days... he really was a cheerleader! and a member of the "Skull and Bones" Just Google: George Bush Skull and Bones or George Bush Yale - you'll find it. I don't know who I'm voting for yet but I definately know it will not be GWiz ;-) Scall |

Research any politician (or in this case copy and paste) and you'll be bound to find something negative. No president has a clean record, so what's your point? |

I wonder if he actually worked for that MBA or did his father give Harvard an offer it couldn't refuse. I could just see GB in a ra ra skirt. LOL. |

I agree with you Anna-- a graduate degree is no guarantee of intelligence. Especially when you got there becaue your family has clout. |

Since you have so much proof of many things, where is your documentation that he got his degree in any way other than the prescribed way? |

Well I went to that site Scall and didn't find anything that suggested anything negative about his mba. It doesn't say much at all save that he seemed to be a normal student. Being skull and bones though would get anybody into anywhere. It's weird but one of the things they have to do is dig up the grave of a criminal, remove the skull, and bring it back to the temple in Yale. That's why there is a collection of skulls in there. This was revealed by a whistle blower. I read it somewhere... can't remember where though. |

BCAR: You seem to be reading things into this. No one here claimed any "proof" nor has anyone suggested that he got his degree by an unperscribed way. We merely suggested that just because he has a piece of paper, it doesn't make him intelligent. Scall |

Koolade: I haven't been to the website either so I don't know what you're talking about (Molly Cat posted that). I'm not suggesting anything bad about his MBA, only his level of intelligence. Scall |

the point is, the article says that he didn't make it into Harvard based on the outstanding quality of his previous coursework (his GPA was verifiably low) or his test scores. He made it because he...what...had some previous political experience working for his father (how easy it is to get a job with your dad) he did a little volunteer work and he served domestically in the national guard (while people were getting their legs and arms blowing off in Vietnam)? Color me not impressed. |

How did I KNOW you'd ask for that....LOL. Ironically enough, months back on another site that bashed Bush, the author asked that same thing of me. I'm sorry but I don't have to add anything but my opinion here. This isn't a debate and if people only choose to acknowledge one side of issues in life, they are being very naive. |

I will add though, in my opinion....it's VERY HONORABLE to those that understand the terror and dictatorship that Iraq suffered for many years....to have MR.BUSH free them from their horror. I respect him for having the courage to do the right thing where others neglected and ignored this issue in the past. |

So we did all this to free the Iraqis? Don't the Iraqis realise what a sacrifice we're making for them? That we are putting our young men's lives at risk to free them? The Iraqis are very selfish aren't they? What about the dictatorship in Ubekistan where they boil insurgents alive? There are so many countries to free, where do we go next? We are 'intent' on spreading this wonderful democracy, but allow our 'friends', the saudis, to have their oppressive and unequal society. |

Well YOU CHOOSE: You tried. You're right, this is not a debate but if you're going to accuse someone of looking at things one-sidedly then you need to present the other side. I'm with KOOLADE on the idea that what we did in Iraq wasn't so special. To me it doesn't matter what a sovereign nation does in their backyard any more than it's my business what my nieghbors are up to in their bedroom. If we go around the world "liberating" every oppressed nation (and the numbers are so huge we could be at the liberation game for centuries) how do Americans stand to fair? Billions and billions have been spent on Iraq (a country with no ties to Al-Queda or WTC - the central issue). Who's next? and how many more billions are we goig to spend during a time in our nation when we are cutting benefits to seniors, cutting education for our youth and job loss is at an all-time high? We are paying for these "liberations" and suffering here on our own soil as a result. I don't think it's noble to be a "globo-cop" and I don't think Americans can stand the financial burden of the U.S. being one. Not to mention if this course continues for the next 10 years as Bush promised in the beginning, then I will likely see my 16-year old daughter drafted and shipped to some war - when neither of us believes in killing -- not even for our government. LOL @BCAR.... "kewl huh?" As for my above comment, I still stand by it. This argument is an old one and one that am tired of discussing...no offense. I know Bush isn't this "Evil" that most would love to prove him to be. I do respect the man, he's put up with A LOT more in 1 term than most president's EVER see in two. He's handled and juggled it quite well in my opinion given the hand he was dealt. My opinion will not be altered and that's the lovely thing about 'having one's own opinion.' |

Ha you should come over to Australia and see how the media (newspapers and tv) are crucifying our first Lady Prime Minister Julia Gillard...you think Bush has copped criticism, spend a day over here and see what goes on..she is highly intelligent, done so much for the working class people and those same people want to kick her out for a man who looks after the rich only! the dirt that the opposition has dragged up which isn't true is disgraceful... |
