5/nov/03 Hey Susie! Basic was cool up untill they made us stay up and sleep only four hours the last two nights includeing now! I'm up and tired as well and they make us put on all of our gear too! Helmet- 51 lbs. lce-71lbs. gasmask, around our hips- everything, makes you sweat like crazy, I'm so tired this sucks. How are you susie( my nickname)? Good i hope, you better being doing well in all your classes, and quit drinkin on school nights! ( hes kidding i never do that) you gotta wait for the weekends for that. well susie i only have about 3 weeks and 2 days left of basic training! the i go to AiT on dec. 5th. It is up to you to get mom, dad or kaye to come see me, i will honestly feel bad if my family doesnt come see me graduate! i at least one person there like mom or dad. Dang, i wil be very sad, cuz i would be all alone while all my friends were with there familes :( . i will be buying my plane tickets to come home from christmiss on nov 20,i am soo excited, i hate it here, Well, susie i love you tell kaye i love her to! make sure you get someone to come watch me graduate and spend family day with me bye don- p.s. i love you

Its werid last year at this time i didnt know any one in the army know my boy for a friend is in the army and learning korean at some base learning thing in calif, and my brother is at basics... hmmm... well... i guess thats the way things go.
