The Fallen ~ faded to grey

I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
Diving onto a bed of old snake skins
I'm dead to the world lost in a daze
Whirling and fizzing trapped in a maze
Flickering glass-gold dripping to the floor
So long as I don't lose hold and hate them anymore

I'm back on the old road so hang your head in shame
I'm back where I began so look how far you came

I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
In a paradise fit for kings
Bathed ruby red fragmented shine
Dazzling dullness in stark decline
Sugar soaked blanket to hynotise
Broken bricks to fall and rise

I'm back on the old road so hang your head in shame
I'm back where I began so look how far you came

I'm the fallen wings of Widdershins
The type of demonic spirit that sings
Spinning a shroud in the background
Air shimmers at the slightest sound
Misguided eyes drop and enlightened eyes gape
The Oracle told me I could escape
