I must say that I was crying so hard by the end of this.. and I, for one, am very glad they did this as a music video instead of one of their more upbeat songs.
Good Charlotte is such a great band, and they do all of this because they love music. At the first concert of theirs I went to, they stopped in between songs to talk about suicide, saying how there are other ways and about how they know what its like. And that gave me an instant trust and respect for them.
This music video is probably one of the best I have ever seen..they took real people who have dealt with suicide and put them in the video.. its very sad, very touching, and can make a huge impact.
I can't say anything else to describe it.. you have to see it for yourself.
To view it, you can go here: http://www.mtv.com/search/searchvideoresults.jhtml?searchterm=Hold+On&searchtype=video&searchsource=default
that link won't work for me on my comp, so for those of you who can't view it there, this is where I finally was able to download it to watch it for the second time: http://www.gcfan.com/mb/ib/index.php?act=home
Just watch it... there is no way to describe this music video...
