The Many Deaths of Keelin Foulis Part 3....RedRiot

I ran down the street thinking I had just made the biggest mistake of my life. I shook my head, gritted my teeth and just ran faster. Where was I going? Where WAS there to go?

Nowhere to run! Nowhere to hide! A voice chimed in the back of my head.

He hadn't been there in the house when Theresa had attacked, I was sure of it. Wasn't I? Why would he have let something like this happen? No, that was crazy. He would have never done this to me... right?

"I love you," he told me as we sat on the front porch together. We would always watch his neighborhood live and breathe as we just sat still and watched it all happen.

"If you love me, then why don't you leave her?" I asked angrily.

"Soon." That's what he always said. Soon. Not soon enough. I heard a voice calling my name behind me. Who was it? I knew that voice. I heard it everyday, but who was it? My body was tingling all over as I turned around to see the face of the person calling me. I was feeling sick to my stomach again. Breathe, I reminded myself, just breathe. That was the last thought I had before I hit the ground.
