I don't think it's a question of power but one of safety. |

Over nukes, yeah, flex the muscles. Over anything else, nope. Keep our noses out of it. |

This is the same questions people were asking about England at one stage. America is the major world power at the moment and it has some sort of responsibility to protect it's people and the people of it's allies so of course they will be worried about nukes being made. |

We are really telling the world that having nuclear weapons will protect them. If we really believed that that Iraq had nuclear weapons we would not have attacked them. North Korea is a dangerous and unstable country it seems, but they won't be attacked as long as they have the nukes. Who is going to police our nukes and biological and chemical weapons? Will the UN be doing inspections here? |

So they're getting a smack on the hand for wanting to make some nukes...reason, US fears the Nukes will be used on them or US Allies. Ummm...anyone know of any other reason for making nukes?? Hmmm...why did America make nukes?? For nice garden ornaments?? Don't think so. Or maybe people make nukes to use as deterent against any invaders...so why would anyone try to stop someone from using a weapon merely as a deterent? Seems to smell a little wiffy of hypocracy...but then whats new... |
